Student Learning Consultants and Subject...

On Wednesday, Mr Harris and Mr Burley had the opportunity to work with our extremely talented Student Learning Consultants and Subject Leaders. In this session students were able to get a taste of what is expected in their new roles and how they embed themselves into the lessons. Students were excited at the opportunities available and are able to confidently speak in front of people about subjects they are passionate about.

This year, we have a total of 20 student learning consultants appointed who are passionate about more than one subject and confidently speak about Bushey Meads and what is happening around the school. These students are going to play a pivotal role this year, gaining feedback from students about what they enjoy around school and what they would like to see changed during their lessons.

These students taking part in the training session today were excellent all throughout, coming up with intuitive ideas and having conversations which allowed for thought and reflection.

We wish them the best of luck in their new roles this year and seeing them embed into the school community as leaders.
