Monday 17 September saw a visit from a talented singer, Hannah Jane Lewis (recently signed artist to Polydor Records) visiting the school.
She performed some of her own compositions and then spoke to the students about her journey and the importance of perseverance, believing in yourself and having a goal.
She also spoke about bullying and how much damage it can do to a person without you realising the significance of unkind words. She encouraged the students to think carefully about other people’s feelings – tied into our school mantra Our School has a Mind to be Kind.
