This week I received an email from Mia, an ex GCSE Dance student, who is now a fully qualified ISTD dance teacher to some of our Bushey Meads students in an outside dance academy.
At the beginning of March her dance academy had their awards presentation for their most recent ISTD dance examinations.
They had their top 4 girls, all from Bushey Meads, gain the highest overall marks in their section!
Matilda (Year 7) – Social Dance Test with an overall mark of 98%
Vivienne (Year 7), Sienna (Year 9) and Ellie-Mae (Year 10) – Bronze and Above with an overall mark of 99%
This is such a brilliant achievement from them all and we are incredibly proud to keep their dance abilities thriving here at Bushey Meads through dance lessons and extracurricular clubs.
I look forward to getting Mia to come back to Bushey Meads to teach a workshop in Summer!
