National Recognition -Excellence in Maths

One of our exceptional Year 11 Maths students has been recognised nationally for his ability and achievement in Maths, notably through the UKMT challenges. He has received the following invitation from the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust:

I am delighted to invite Yehen to a Virtual UKMT summer school. This summer school is free of charge and only 120 students across the country have been invited to attend.

Yehen has said

I felt ecstatic after receiving the news of this opportunity to work with other students from across the country who share a passion for maths. This is one of the biggest events that I will have attended during my time at school, and while it will be a virtual course, I will be sure to make the most of this opportunity and learn as much as I can.
This is a credit to Yehen, as well as his teacher Mr Kasza and all of Yehen’s previous Maths teachers. It is a great example of the work done in pushing our most able students to achieve the very best.
