We are delighted that so many students have been coming to the music block to create together over the past few weeks. Five days a week we have had every room in use each lunchtime, and it is amazing to see such enthusiasm for music performance at our school. If students are interested in booking a practice room then please come to the music department at breaktime to avoid disappointment.
Music lessons have now begun with our fantastic peripatetic teachers and students are now getting back into their instrumental studies. Ms Fort has worked tirelessly to ensure that lessons can return and it is fantastic to see pupils learning music again with our outstanding teachers. If you are interested in learning an instrument at Bushey Meads then please speak to the music department for more information.
To our absolute delight we have extra curricular music in school again. Last year we had such a wide offering going on each week with lots of pupils regularly turning up. Although it has taken a bit of time, it is lovely to hear ensembles performing again. Ms Fort has started our year 7 choir and there is more to come over the coming weeks. Please speak to the music department if you are interested in any wider extra curricular.
