This week the Theme of the Week has been Moving On and on Monday Assistant Pastoral Manager Mr Annan-Forsen led a really important assembly for our successful cohort of Year 7 students who have all come to the end of their very productive first year at BMS. As he reminded them all, they have all developed, all learned new things, all developed their characters and they are all now able to do so much more than this time a year ago. They have experienced new challenges, made new friends and collectively contributed immensely to the rich life of our school.
He spent some time talking about the expectations for next year when they are all in Year 8. The expectations will be higher as they will become role models for the students younger than them. Uniforms will need to be immaculate, all students will need to follow the clear school rules and our Keys to Success in every classroom; above all they should continue to build on the success of this year and continue to always demonstrate a Mind to Be Kind.
Mr Annan-Forsen’s assembly made for a very positive start to the week.
