Imagination and Creativity Reigns!

It was a real privilege to spend time with Miss Denmark’s Year 7 English group on Wednesday of this week and see their imagination and creative ideas come to the fore within the context of discussing and writing about monsters in a fantasy setting.

Their knowledge of Greek mythology and considered interpretation of relevant images certainly helped to inspire their thoughts which were captured in a passage of creative writing completed at the end of the lesson.

Their attitude to learning and behaviour was exemplary throughout the lesson; I was very impressed with their effort and determination to succeed.

It was also excellent to have Miss Brandon as the Learning Assistant in the room. She contributed brilliantly in helping to teach the lesson, bring the topic alive and with all her support for the students with their work.
