Theme of the Week: Challenge

The Theme of the Week this week was the theme of Challenge. Executive Principal, Mr Turner, led the assemblies for each year group discussing the benefits of learning that is challenging enough to support growth. This linked to one of our Keys to Success of Growth Mindset – this is where we believe that students learn through making mistakes but persevering and trying again.

The assembly finished with a challenge for all students linked to our school mantra of ‘Our School has a Mind to be Kind’ – all students were challenged to follow the Advent of Kindness throughout December by completing at least one purposeful Act of Kindness each day.
