Last summer, a group of 90 outstanding students actively participated in the GAP programme, successfully avoiding the academic challenges associated with the “summer slide.”
Today, I am excited to announce the completion of the rewards list for these exceptional students who not only completed their GAP tasks but achieved outstanding success since the start of this academic year. I am immensely proud of each student who took part in this programme and excited to recognise their hard work.
This year, the GAP rewards points will be issued on Arbor using our school’s rewards ladder, this serves as a testament to your commitment and achievements. Please take a moment to review the rewards table below to see the points and rewards you’ve earned.
Certificates of Achievement
For those of you who achieved Bronze, Silver and Gold certificates, I am pleased to announce that these prestigious certificates will be presented to you during our regular assembly next week. Your dedication to the GAP programme has truly paid off.
But the rewards don’t stop there!
The quality of the submitted GAP tasks by our remarkable students has been outstanding. As a result, not only will students who received the Gold Award have the opportunity to enjoy a day at Thorpe Park, but we’ve also decided to extend this invitation to students who achieved Silver certificates. What a fantastic way to say thank you for your hard work in the GAP programme last summer.
The Thorpe Park trip will take place next Friday the 20th October 2023.
We believe that such experiences not only recognise your achievements but also inspire you to strive for excellence in all that you do.
I also want to take a moment to thank the parents and carers for supporting their children in completing the GAP tasks during the summer. Your encouragement and guidance have been instrumental in making this programme a resounding success.
Please note that, I will be sending individual emails to these students and their parents, personally notifying them of their well-deserved rewards this afternoon. This direct communication will ensure that each student receives the recognition they have earned.
