The Power of the Great BMS Team
At the end of one of the most challenging weeks in education last week it was inspiring and immensely encouraging to receive an email from one of the key middle leaders in our school who just wanted to say:
“With everything currently going on in the world and in our local community, I have never felt prouder to be part of the Bushey Meads family. Throughout the past week I have been astounded on numerous occasions of the caring/loving nature of every single member of staff and each and every student. Everyone has pulled out all the stops to ensure the atmosphere remains as calm and welcoming as possible given the circumstances. I feel that we have all worked together as equals (with total understanding) no matter of positions held within the school. Everyone has had their own individual part to play and it really shows. It has truly warmed my heart and I’m so privileged to work in such a caring community. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a fantastic team!”
We all know that good teams become great ones when team members trust each other enough to surrender the ‘me’ for the ‘we’. In this way the true power of TEAM becomes more apparent and Together Everyone Achieves More. A huge thank you goes to Deputy Headteacher Mrs Ash who ran the school so brilliantly during that last week.
