After getting cancelled last year due to COVID19, Friday 18th March marked the The Dance Showcase finally! It was a perfect afternoon dedicated to showcasing the talented GCSE and A Level dance students’ own choreography, classwork, group numbers and exam assessments.
Despite the pressures of increased workload, exams and extra-curricular, the students’ work ethic has been outstanding and they deserved to be highlighted and showcased. They have spent their time in lessons, during free periods, extra-curricular clubs and after school creating the work seen in the showcase. The Dance Department is stronger than ever because of the talented and hardworking students in Key Stage 4 and 5.
This showcase was the last dance show for a lot of our students before they further their studies at university and go onto other ventures. We are so proud of them all and can’t wait to see what their futures hold.
Thanks to all who attended and supported the dance students and the show. The positive feedback I have received has been utterly amazing and it’s safe to say the dance department are getting very excited about the next show. Bring it on!
