On Tuesday we were very fortunate to have a visit from Major McGlynn REME Eng.

This was the Major’s second visit to the school. He gave a talk to the Anti-bullying ambassadors and the students of Our Space.

The theme was Cyberbullying. The Major gave the students some great ideas for safety strategies such as:

Don’t be a silly robot

  • Don’t – reply or respond
  • Block – numbers or individuals
  • Save – screenshot, bullying messages or pictures
  • Report – to a parent, carer or teacher

And Remember:

Cyberbullying

Is

bullying

hiding

behind

a

pretty

screen

It

does

not

make

it

less

hateful
