Bushey Meads Falls Silent!
Last week saw (and heard!) the first DEAR event of this academic year. Firmly established as an important part of practice here at Bushey Meads, DEAR events (Drop Everything And Read) give both staff and students a 15 minute oasis in the midst of a busy day to simply sit back and enjoy a great book in silence.
We also had our first CDC reading sessions on Friday as years 7-10 enjoyed a shared reading experience of a class texts.
Here are some great pictures of our students enjoying their reading!
