Our More Able Coordinator and MFL Teacher Mr Harrop led the Friday Faculty Foci last week and updated all staff about the hugely important More Able Agenda at Bushey Meads. We are delighted that more students than ever have completed one of the exciting Flair Projects contained in this year’s Drive Booklet – packed full of stretch and challenge tasks that any student can complete across a whole array of different subject areas and personal interests.  It has been great to see some students completing projects in subjects that they do not yet study – showing a real drive to Aspire to Achieve and excel in their wider learning.
As parents and carers I would strongly encourage you all to remind your children of this fantastic resource available via the school website and encourage them to complete at least one project in the booklet and hand it in to Mr Harrop.

Your children will receive reward points for their work and, by taking part, it will not only move their learning on, but it will also stand them in good stead for the future, with their aspirations for GCSE, SIxth Form study and beyond.
Flair Week 2023 begins next week and there are lots of certificates ready to give out to worthy students who show Flair.
Don’t miss out!
