The Friday afternoon before the recent half term holiday saw all our hard working Year 13 students gather in the Main Hall for a poignant Raising Achievement Assembly led by Associate Leader and Head of Sixth Form Mr O’Kelly and the Sixth Form Team. Students received excellent advice about all the preparations for their all-important post 16 examinations due to take place in May and June of this year and were able to collect some really useful resources to support their revision between now and then. The students were also provided with a very clear Level 3 Value Added Progress Card which detailed their potential, current predictions and LV3A Score; a useful benchmark and focus for where they should best devote their attention and hard work – ideally aiming to gain a positive score in all subjects across the board.
It was indeed a powerful moment in time for all involved and we continue to wish all of the students the very best over the next few months. Keep working hard, look after yourselves and do continue to ask for help and support when needed
