Encouraging Adventure into our Daily Lives

Head of House Mr Sylvester led the Sycamore House Assembly on Wednesday of this week and encouraged all students to see adventure as something that can be part of their daily lives. Everyday there are small hurdles to overcome and achieve and, if students continue to adopt a growth mindset and embrace the challenges ahead, adventure can be used as a driving emotion to enable them to further Aspire to Achieve. Adventure doesn’t have to be scaling mountains, jumping out of aeroplanes or going on dangerous expeditions – it can be simple challenges in learning, new activities, in or out of school, and part of our everyday lives.
