If you haven’t, there is still time! Have a look at the schedule below:
Ms Wright, one of our latest exciting additions to the Science Team, has been instrumental in putting the BMS Science Week together and many thanks from all of the Bushey Meads Community for leading this exciting project. Of course, this couldn’t be delivered as well without the rest of our Science teachers supporting, so a big thank you to them too.
As a bonus item, Mr Thornton arranged for Dr Tommy Thornton and an advanced clinical podiatrist to answer lots of interesting questions posed by our budding BMS scientists.
Mr Burley also got in the spirit of Science Week and interviewed a friend of his who has had a pulmonary endarterectomy – the operation where they drain all blood around the heart, remove clots and blockages, and have to pump blood back in every 20 minutes!
If you haven’t seen the videos yet, speak to your science teachers!
Finally, well done to all of our STEM and Science Student Leaders, who have been completing their Science Week booklets via Google Classrooms. Once the week is completed, the best pieces of work will be shared in the newsletter.
Enjoy the rest of the Science Week!
