At present, around 1 in 3 UK entrepreneurs is female and that number is growing fast. Following on from Mr Turner’s informative assembly on Diversity and Inclusion last week and remembering also that Wednesday 8th March was International Women’s Day, I decided to introduce our students in Year 13 Business Studies to the successes of women entrepreneurs from the UK and from around the world.

We also looked at the achievements of 12 inspiring female entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia. Students then presented their findings to the class.
