William Shakespeare’s Play of the Month –...

The Comedy of Errors is a five-act comedy by William Shakespeare and his shortest play. It was written in 1589–94 and first published in the First Folio of 1623 from Shakespeare’s manuscript. Two sets of identical twins are separated at sea as babies and find themselves in the same city for the first time as adults, creating mistaken identity and a farcical comedy of confusion. If you are short of time or want a lighter Shakespeare read then this is the play for you.
