At BMS, we have a ‘Mind to be Kind’
The whole of year 8 on Thursday 5th November took part in an exciting day of ‘Mind to be Kind’ workshops. During the day ‘Fearless’, a company that provides advice to crimes that directly affect young people, ran a ‘Fearless’ workshop that focused upon staying safe on-line. The session was interactive and fun. The rest of day looked at acts of kindness and students produced a piece of creative writing as a response to their learning. What I found interesting was listening into the discussions that shared examples of how people have been kind or how they have been kind. These ranged from “showing respect to someone you don’t like” and “standing up for your friends”.
