Over the last three Fridays ‘Time2Sh9e’ Core ‘Rising To The Top’ sessions have taken place during CDC, kicking off with Ms Court, Head of English, who presented top tips on how to ‘Shimmer’ in English. Ms Court focused upon the key qualities in writing that top students demonstrate in the exam. Mr Charmokly, Deputy Head of Science, presented on all three sciences and things the students should be focusing upon to reach the top grades. Ms Timmins, Deputy Head of Maths, shared with the year 11 the top tips from the exam board that highlighted aspects of the paper that sometimes prevent the attainment of the top grades. All three sessions looked in detail at mark schemes and shared with the students what differentiates top grade papers from others.
Do look on the website for the presentations delivered during these sessions under the ‘More Able Tomorrow than Today’ tab.
