T&L Accross the Trust

The Bushey St James Trust is an exciting multi academy trust in Bushey, Hertfordshire made up of three academy schools, Bushey Meads Secondary School, Little Reddings Primary School and Hartsbourne Primary School.

As part of this trust, schools have the unique opportunity to work closely together to ensure students are receiving the highest quality education. We work collaboratively throughout the academic year to ensure cross phase expertise are shared, and used to inform practice.
The deputy headteacher at Bushey Meads School recently took a visit to Little Reddings Primary School to continue to build links and develop the curriculums across the trust. It was a great opportunity to see some of the lessons in action.
Mr Beswick said “There are so many ways we can use the primary expertise to continue to drive our teaching and learning at Bushey Meads School. These phonics lessons will inform how we adapt our key stage 3 English curriculum to support what has been taught in primary school and help students make even rapid progress”.
