Year 8 Reward Assembly
It was a real privilege to join one of the year group End of Term Reward Assemblies held in the last week of last term and see so many superb students rewarded for their ongoing hard work, effort and achievement throughout the first term of this academic year.
Every time a student works hard in class, hands in a particularly good piece of homework, contributes to the school community or participates in an extra curricular activity they are awarded reward points and, over the course of a term, they add up.
Many students have gained a considerable number of these – some as many as 50, 100 or 150+ reward points which is a tremendous achievement. One student (Sameer in 8F) was praised in particular for gaining over 200 reward points – an incredible achievement. He received a huge round of applause from his peers who rightly recognised his superb contribution to his own learning and the wider school community.
