On Wednesday 24th of January, some of our fantastic ECT’s attended the Chiltern Teaching School Conference. The conference consisted of several sessions, however one stood out in particular.

Musharaf (Mushy) Agshar is a proud stammerer who appeared on the Channel 4 show ‘Educating Yorkshire’ in 2013. He is now a key note speaker who delivers talks about a variety of topics in the education sector. The session opened our eyes to the importance of our roles as teachers and the power and impact that we can have on our student’s lives. We are honoured to teach such an amazing cohort of students at Bushey Meads and the conference has heightened our understanding of strategies and tools that we can use to enhance our teaching practice.
