This week, our Year 11 and Year 13 students kicked off their two-week PPEs period, and this week, the atmosphere was one of focus, determination and positive energy.
Our students approached their PPEs with a level of maturity and responsibility, showcasing not only the academic knowledge they’ve gained at Bushey Meads but also embodying our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Relationship.
As we reflect on the events of this week, we are inspired by the collective effort and spirit of collaboration within our school community. Our students, parents and staff have once again demonstrated that when we work together, there is no limit to what we can achieve.
Looking ahead, we encourage our students to build upon the success of these PPEs, using the feedback provided as a tool for growth and improvement. With the continued support of our dedicated staff and the backing of our strong school community, we are confident that our students will go on to excel in their upcoming final exams in the Summer.
To celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Year 11 and Year 13 students, we will be hosting a results celebration assembly on Friday 5th January period 4 for year 13 and period 5 for year 11. During this assembly, students will receive an envelope with their PPE results, the students will open the envelopes to see their results for the first time and celebrate their achievements together. It is a brilliant moment full of happiness and encouragement.
Just a reminder, in line with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) instructions, please be aware that all PPE papers will be securely stored within our faculties. These papers may serve as valuable evidence of the students’ performance in a particular subject in the future. In cases where special consideration applications may be required, these papers will play a crucial role in supporting the evidence of your attainment.
