Throughout this school year I have been taught Spanish by Señora Bourke and Señorita Montes. I especially liked the games and quizzes which helped me to memorise words and phrases. Both teachers are happy and fun. Before I came to Bushey Meads, I had done some Spanish but as the teacher left my previous school, there was nobody else to take their place, and my studies were interrupted. Since the beginning of the year 7, my subject knowledge has rapidly improved.
I have learnt about: greetings; countries and cities; numbers from cero to cien (zero to one hundred); the date (eg, once de junio); The Day Of The Dead, (Día de los Muertos); age (eg tengo doce años); colours (eg Naranja, Azul, Verde, Amarillo); stationary (eg Goma, Regla, Estuche, Lápiz); family members; physical features; personalities; pets (mascotas); verb endings; first, second and third person, as well as hobbies.
I feel like I have come a long way in Spanish and I now like it even more than I used to.
