This week it has been a real privilege to observe some of our outstanding Learning Assistants in action in classrooms across the school as they support the teachers and of course the students with their learning, enabling them to maximise progress.
The additional adult in the classroom provides even more opportunities for students to engage in dialogue about their learning and gain support in reshaping tasks and explanations so that all students better understand new concepts and learning challenges.
Pictured here are Mrs Malik working with Mr Cox in a Year 8 English lesson and Miss Benham working with Mrs Ahmed in a Year 9 Maths lesson.
