Reading lessons in the LRC
Students in KS3 have been enjoying using the Learning Resource Centre, LRC, for reading lessons as part of their English curriculum.
Miss Denton, Advanced Lead Teacher for English, used the session to encourage the students to explore the resources available for them, teaching students how to be a librarian and encouraging reading for pleasure.
Her Year 7 class were certainly excited to be in the LRC and be able to use the fabulous resources on offer.
Students are able to use the LRC before school from 8:00 am, at break time and lunch time during the school day and after school until 4:00 pm.
