Taking Time to Reflect
Assistant Headteacher Mrs Greenwood led some thought provoking Main School Assemblies this week on the theme of Reflection and encouraged all of us to take time to reflect to show respect to ourselves and others and build good relationships with those around us.
She encouraged us to consider the importance of looking back to build even more positive futures ahead. She explained that reflecting back gives us the chance to consider our achievements, our disappointments and learn from what has gone before, to be able to be even more successful in the future.
Taking time to properly reflect also helps us develop our characters to be even better people tomorrow than we were perhaps yesterday, having that Mind to be Kind and developing that essential growth mindset to constantly improve for the better.
As we look forward to the new year let’s reflect back and make 2025 the best year of our lives to date.
