Paris Trip April 2025

Bonjour Bushey Meads School!

Calling all Year 9 and 10 studying French!

This is to inform you that the previously announced June trip to France has been rescheduled to April 2025 and will run for three days! I’m very happy to announce that the trip is also available for our Year 10 French students, which will be a great opportunity for them to have a real practice of their lessons!

The itinerary and activities will remain mostly the same, so we hope to see you joining us for an exciting and enriching adventure! Please find below the outline of the trip!

While lodging at the castle ‘Chateau de Grande Romaine’ located near Paris, we will have the chance to experience a variety of activities to give you a taste of the French culture, history and lifestyle.

That includes a day in Paris to visit all the famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower or Montmartre, with a boat tour on the Seine.

We will also spend a fun day at the popular theme park, ‘Parc Astérix’, which is entirely based on a beloved French comic book with a variety of rides, including some for those with a love for thrills!

Finally, we will have the opportunity to visit the castle of Fontainebleau, which is the palace where Napoleon resided, practise your French at a local market, and learn how products like cheese and chocolate are made through the visit to their factories.

France is truly a beautiful country to visit and this trip will give you the opportunity to discover it through unique activities, so make sure to sign up for it before the 7th of November as places are limited!
À bientôt!
