End of Half Term Unit Assessments

Students in maths lessons this week have been completing their important End of Half Term Unit Assessments.

The Year 10 class pictured here were taking things appropriately seriously and saw it as a very good preparation to practise for their upcoming End of Year Pre Public Examinations (PPEs) and GCSE Examinations in August 2026.

Many of them have been revising over the last few weeks and completing additional work on the various online learning platforms made available to them, watching media clips to strengthen their understanding of those ‘problem questions’ which, if mastered, can make the difference between 1 or 2 grade boundaries at this level.

Others have gone out of their way to attend the Maths Masterclasses offered by staff in the Maths Faculty on a weekly basis to further improve their attainment and progress.
