Welcome Back from D&T

Design and Technology and IT Faculty welcomes students back for the new term.

The D&T and IT Faculty have welcomed back all year groups to the department with a kinesthetic sign from Mr Chalkley and the start of very exciting new projects.

We are looking forward to meeting the new year 7 groups who will be investigating materials to make a device case and producing fabulous healthy recipes in the kitchen. Year 10 textiles will be diving straight into practical producing a skills file and working towards a garment project. Year 8’s in electronics will be 3D printing in the new light project. We are also looking forward to tackling caramelisation with Year 13 and carrying out sugar investigations. We’ve also got a few surprises along the way!

Welcome back to D&T and IT
