Positive Links with Local Charities
As a school we have very positive links with a number of local charities including the Watford based charity Peace Hospice Care. Last week we were contacted by Peter Rasmussen who manages their Community Fundraising Team and asked if we could promote the upcoming Watford Colour Run at Aldenham Country Park and the famous Hundred Acre Woods taking place on Sunday 19th June. Hundreds of families will be involved and you are also invited to their flagship event. Please click on this link here for more information.
With this year’s event falling on Father’s Day it could be a special opportunity for those who would like to run or walk in memory of their Dad, Grandad, Uncle, or other important men in their lives. The day promises to be a memorable event with lots of fun for everyone and there will be a number of delicious food stalls, children’s activities and dedicated picnic areas for all to enjoy.
