Bushey Meads House Foodbank Appeal
Last week I had the pleasure to be able to make our yearly donation to the local food bank in Bushey. If you recall the Heads of House had asked during the last round of House assemblies for students to consider the impact they have on their wider community. As part of this we asked the students if they could support those local to Bushey Meads and who are in need of support.
We all recognise the difficulties some families are having and it was heartwarming to see the fantastic efforts so many students and their families went to. On the day I asked Ibiso in Year 12, as one of our Community Leaders, to help support me delivering to the drop off point. It was great to have some additional support from others in Sixth Form who wanted to be part of helping the community.
As you can see their help was needed, with all the fanytasic support offered, we had completely filled the drop off point for the Bushey Foodbank and that is testament for all your generosity. I look forward to future opportunities to support local charities through the House system at Bushey Meads.
