A Rising Star

On the 23rd of December, Miss Joannou, Mrs Bragoli, Mr Knowles and Miss Vail had the absolute pleasure of watching Casper Knopf in a fantastic performance of Macbeth at the Donmar Theatre. Casper made his professional stage debut at the Donmar with a show that has been sold out since the beginning of December right up until February, performing alongside David Tennant. In his multi-character role, we see Casper as Macduff’s son Fleance, young Siward and the dead child of Macbeth. This production of Macbeth uses binaural stereo to create a 3D soundscape and all members of the audience wear headphones as a critical aspect of the show. This unique performance has received 5 stars from, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Financial Times, and the 4 Bushey Meads School teachers!

Casper has been in and out of rehearsals and has managed to keep up with school work and be in school as much as possible. We are so proud of his dedication and incredible performance – very well done Casper!
