Superb Science Lessons
Last Friday I spent an hour walking around a number of science lessons and was particularly impressed with Miss Mitchell’s Year 10 class. They had recently completed an end of unit test and were carefully going through some of the more challenging questions, upskilling their knowledge and really developing their examination technique to be able to hit all those top level grades.
Miss Mitchell was using a visualiser to project her answer paper up onto the Interactive Whiteboard and was highlighting and annotating the questions to reinforce the learning. All students were really well engaged and valued her expert teaching. It was impressive to see.
The Learning Assistant was circulating the room, assisting students further with their learning; it was an impressive collaboration between all stakeholders, with a strong focus on high quality learning and achievement.
