Students are back this term and have settled straight into Sociology and Psychology lessons. Across both subjects, students have been covering topics such as research methods, morality, Crime & deviance and psychological problems, with lots of discussion and application of key ideas.
In Year 12 Sociology, students have had a go at peer teaching, creating their own presentations and quizzes to teach parts of the course to each other. This has been a really positive way for them to build confidence, work collaboratively, and secure their understanding of the content.
Our Year 11 and Year 13 students have been very exam-focused, spending time practising past paper questions and essays to improve exam technique and prepare for upcoming assessments.
It’s been a strong start to the term and great to see students engaging so well in lessons.
