It takes a whole team to make Bushey Meads the special place it is — and we want to take a moment to shine a well-deserved spotlight on some of the true heroes of our community: our incredible support staff.
Every single day, these wonderful people help keep our school running smoothly and make sure our students have the best possible experience. From the friendly faces who greet you in the office, to the learning assistants who give that extra bit of support in lessons, to the technicians who make sure everything works just as it should — they all play a vital part in school life.
And it doesn’t stop there! Our cleaners keep our classrooms sparkling, our site staff make sure everything is safe and working, and our lunchtime team brings warmth, smiles, and delicious food to the middle of every busy day. Together, they create an environment where students can learn, grow, and feel cared for.
Often, their work happens quietly in the background — but without them, the school simply wouldn’t be the same. They’re the steady hands, the problem solvers, and the cheerleaders who keep things running, often going above and beyond to help both staff and students.
So, this week, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our support staff. Your hard work, kindness, and commitment make our school a better place every single day. You are truly the heartbeat of our school community — and we’re so lucky to have you!
