I would like to once again thank the 310 students who took the time to send in a nomination for their ‘best teacher’ from 2024.25 at the end of the last academic year. All staff received a nomination and found it uplifting to read the wonderfully encouraging citations. Here are a few more of them for you to read:

 
Congratulations Miss Joannou!

She’s funny and is my favourite dance teacher. She always helps me if I don’t know anything and always pushes me to try something new. Her dance routines are always good too. Year 7 Student

She is always prepared for our lessons with loads of practice questions and makes sure we are on track and we understand the content as well as helping develop our knowledge and always helping us when we need any further help with any chemistry work. She never misses any lessons. She is an asset to the science department. Year 12 Student
