Dance and Textiles enrichment day showcase!

Our recent Cultural Enrichment Day was a celebration of creativity, teamwork and cultural appreciation, brought to life by our talented students in dance and textiles.

During the day students were challenged with the task of representing a dance genre. Our brilliant textiles students designed and crafted beautiful costumes and accessories for their troupe of dancers. With careful thought and consideration they made sure that the fabrics they chose and the style was a clear link to the genre of music they were designing for.

Dance students choreographed original pieces across six diverse dance styles. Each routine reflected a unique cultural influence, highlighting the students’ creativity and respect for each dance style and its origin. The genres included Jazz, Contemporary, Bollywood, Disco, Hip-hop and Salsa.

The day ended with a vibrant final performance showcasing the dance routines and costumes. Well done to all of our students for their hard work, talent and enthusiasm in making the day such a memorable success!
