We would like to share an important update regarding our commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of all our pupils. As a school, we are proud to support Operation Encompass, an initiative that enhances communication between schools and police forces to ensure the safety and well-being of children who may be affected by domestic incidents.
To further strengthen this commitment, all members of our Safeguarding Team are currently undertaking Key Adult training as part of this programme. This training equips our team with the knowledge and skills to effectively respond to notifications from Operation Encompass and provide immediate, informed support to any child who may need it.
For those unfamiliar, Operation Encompass is designed to ensure that schools receive timely and relevant information from the police after domestic incidents involving children. This allows us to offer the right support at the right time, ensuring children feel safe and supported within our school community.
If you would like more information about Operation Encompass, please visit their official website at www.operationencompass.org or feel free to contact a member of our safeguarding team. As always, we are here to support and collaborate with our school families to ensure the best outcomes for all our pupils.
