New Queuing System and Enhanced Canopies

I would like to thank the Site Saff for making a number of important alterations to the school site during the summer holidays that have definitely enhanced the environment for learning and provided an even safer school for all students. All students are now able to take their bags and coats into the School Restaurant throughout the day. If they sit down at the tables they are expected to put their bags on the floor and take their outdoor coats off. To enable this to happen we have enhanced the queueing system at the entrance to the Restaurant and provided an ‘Alton Towers’ type barrier system under our existing covered way (instead of the bag racks) and also extended the canopies on the side of B Block in case of inclement weather.

Students have commented that it has made their entrance at break and lunchtimes seem safer and quicker; students are queuing for less time and in a more pleasant way.
