New Expansive Outdoor Space

Although Bushey Meads School has always had very expansive grounds, for most of the year a lot of the outdoor space is water logged and unusable. In comparison, our existing playground and hard standing area has always been relatively small. Not any more!

Over the summer period we invested in an excellent firm who have prepared the substantial groundworks and laid a large area of tarmac to complement the existing playground space and nearly doubling the size of it!

It has been perfect timing with the need to create Year group ‘Bubbles’ and areas for them to go at break and lunchtime. Our hard working Year 10 and 11 students now have access to the playground and astro turf and are reaping the benefits of our extensive investment in this part of our school  – over £50 000!
