All those at Bushey Meads School were deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and we send our sincere condolences to the Royal Family.

During CDC time on Friday morning staff and pupils too the opportunity to reflect on the life of Her Majesty, looking back at her many accomplishments throughout her reign and how she led the country with kindness and compassion.

We appreciate that for many of our pupils this may be an unsettling and confusing time, especially for those for whom it may be a reminder of a recent bereavement. Our pastoral team is on hand to support any pupils who may need it.

The school will be closed on Monday 19th September in recognition of the Bank Holiday.
