Great Connections
As a multi academy Trust it is always good to connect in with other successful organisations and over the last few weeks the school has been represented at the Wren Academy Trust (Barnet and Enfield) and the Greenshaw Learning Trust (South West Region) AGMs, Directors meetings and Governor Strategy Days.
Will Smith the CEO of the Greenshaw Learning Trust has visited Bushey Meads School and the two primary schools in the MAT many times over the last few years and is always so impressed with the work across the three schools, always speaking highly of our inclusivity and aspirational achievements.
The GLT’s strategy day last Friday was hosted by Dawn Carman-Jones who has a wide ranging experience as a non-executive in the education sector as founding chair of trustees for a 14-school primary and specialist trust and nationally as an independent consultant. Pictured here, she facilitated some great discussions about the current challenges in education and how we can move positively forward to overcome them, strengthening structures further with a focus on ‘next-gen governance’.
It was a really useful day and hopefully a number of ideas can be brokered and shared across our educational establishments for the benefit of all our young people.
