Enrichment Day Success!

On Thursday 8th November lessons were suspended for all year groups as we held the second out of five Whole School Enrichment Days.

The day was a great success with a varied programme of activities:

Year 7 spent the day experiencing a range of KS4 and KS5 lessons such as Law, Psychology and Government and Politics.

Year 8 focused on the school mantra of ‘Our School has a Mind to be Kind’  which culminated in some fantastic pieces of creative writing.

Year 9 spent the day in the Performing and Visual Arts Faculty where they had an immersion day in their chosen discipline.

As part of the Careers Programme, Year 10 spent the day in groups working on an Enterprise event.

Year 11 and Year 13 students spent the day preparing for their PPE’s with Year 12 working on their Extended Project Qualification.
