Engaging Electronics!
Last week in Design and Technology Year 7 students were being challenged to create electrical circuits and were using the soldering irons carefully to solder components together to create the electronic devices.
The teacher was offering great feedback to enable all students to succeed. Engagement and effort was very high and all students were making progress and were being challenged appropriately to take their work to the next level.
What I loved to see was the way the students were rising to the challenges and were using the potentially dangerous equipment in a very mature and sensible way – following all the health and safety advice and reminders provided.
The Year 7 students were proud of their work and keen to demonstrate and show me the progress they had made – it was very positive to see.
