It is the eighth novel by Charles Dickens and was first published serially between May 1849 and November 1850. David Copperfield is viewed as one of the most autobiographical of all the author’s novels. It is said that Dickens himself wrote: “Of all my books I like this the best.” Why not have a read of his novel to see for yourself….
