In our recent assembly last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating the remarkable achievements of our students who participated in the GAP programme last summer. The assembly was a momentous occasion to recognise their dedication and the outstanding progress they’ve made.
A significant part of our assembly was dedicated to the GAP rewards programme. Students who completed various levels of GAP tasks were awarded Bronze, Silver, and Gold Achievement Certificates, reflecting their commitment to the program. In addition, they earned R4, R5, and R6 rewards on Arbor, respectively.
During the assembly, we highlighted the school’s core values: Respect, Responsibility, and Relationship, as the pillars of Achievement. These values underscore the importance of dedication, commitment, and sustained effort, which are vital components of academic success. We encouraged all students to incorporate these values into their daily routines, including setting up a weekly study timetable. This serves as a practical and effective way to prepare for upcoming assessments and exams, fostering a responsible and respectful attitude towards their studies and academic responsibilities.
In addition, we urged students to engage in our STEM clubs offered at Bushey Meads. These clubs provide valuable skills that are essential not only for their current academic journey but also for their future careers. As the job market continues to evolve, STEM skills become increasingly vital, offering numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth.
