Student Leadership Elections at BMS
One of the real strengths of our school is the way we develop and encourage leadership at all levels – throughout the staff body but also, more importantly, throughout the student body. There are so many opportunities for students to step up and take on leadership roles across a whole plethora of clubs, school activities and in all curriculum areas.
In main school assemblies this week we heard from seven outstanding student leaders who are all standing for election to be the most senior students leaders in the school next year. Voting takes place in Character Development Grousp and all voting slips will count towards the process along with a formal interview with the candidates on Friday of this week.
Everyone was so impressed with their short concise and motivational speeches delivered to all students in the school and for the moral values and purpose they all stand for. Any one of them would be an amazing leader and we hope that they all, whatever the outcome of the election, continue to contribute as senior leaders in our learning community at the highest level possible.
A huge congratulations to all seven students who are amazing role models for all the students in the school.
