The King of Willow House takes the House...
Mr Ash had a bit of fun with his House family on Wednesday morning of this week and showed himself as the King of Willow House, celebrating being top of the House Point league – something unfortunately not replicated by his favourite football team, also referenced as one of the many communities he belongs to under this week’s theme of the week Community. Students in the House Assembly watched a thought provoking video promoting the fact that positive, effective communities are made up of like minded people who have two things in common – passion and purpose. Mr Ash then encouraged all students to show the same passion and purpose in their community and informed them of the upcoming House Arts Event which they can all take part in.
It was a great assembly and nice to see the Willow House students looking so smart and listening attentively. The students also congratulated the seven CDC House Reps who have been elected to the role for 2023.24 and who will be meeting with Mr Ash on Friday of this week to plan other exciting activities for their House throughout the year.
